Sean Sharaf has questioned why the UFC continues promoting Gable Steveson ahead of their Sept. 19 meeting at UFC 331.
Sharaf, a former Marine with a 4-2 record, posted a comment under an Instagram video featuring Steveson's latest collaboration with UFC content creator Nina Marie Daniele, according to Sherdog. The video marked at least the fourth time the promotion has paired Steveson with the influencer known as Nina Drama.

Sharaf Questions Promotion Strategy Before UFC 331
In the comment, Sharaf suggested the UFC prioritizes Steveson despite past accusations against the Olympic gold medalist. Steveson and teammate Dylan Martinez were arrested on sexual assault charges in 2019 but released without prosecution due to insufficient evidence. Steveson later won gold in freestyle wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics before transitioning to MMA last year.
The undefeated Steveson has stopped all four opponents in the first round, including Elisha Ellison in his UFC debut this past July. Sharaf arrived in the UFC with four straight first-round finishes but has been knocked out in both promotional appearances so far.
