Shaidulloev Confirms Final RIZIN Fight At NYE Card
RIZIN featherweight champion Razhabali Shaidulloev will make his final promotional appearance on the organisation's New Year's Eve card in Nagoya.
Shaidulloev defends his title against Kyoma Akimoto at Super RIZIN 6 on Dec. 31 at the Vantelim Dome Nagoya, MMA Fighting reported Monday. The undefeated champion heads to MVP MMA in 2027 after closing out a perfect 19-0 run in Japan. Shaidulloev beat A.J. McKee by decision in September to retain the belt.
Three Title Fights And Grand Prix Final Round Out Card
Akimoto enters the bout 13-1 after stopping Patchy Mix and Kleber Koike earlier this year. The co-main event pits lightweight champion Luiz Gustavo against local star Mikuru Asakura in a rematch, though RIZIN has not confirmed whether the 155-pound strap will be on the line. Saori Oshima defends her super atomweight title against Natasha Kuziutina.
The heavyweight grand prix final between Tsuyoshi Sudario and Edopolo King also features on the ten-bout card. RIZIN announced matchups including Chihiro Suzuki against YA-MAN and a KOSHIEN 2026 final pitting Christian Akira Matsuo against Sora Kaneko.
Super RIZIN 6 caps the promotion's 2026 schedule and marks the end of Shaidulloev's tenure in Japan before his move stateside next year.
