Sebastian Fundora Vs. Keith Thurman Predictions – ‘He Is Special'
WBC Junior Middleweight Champion Sebastian Fundora defends his title against Keith Thurman, as pros picked their winner.
Fundora is coming off a win in July 2025, where he stopped Tim Tszyu in the seventh. Standing at 6’5½" with an 80-inch reach, Fundora presents a tough match-up. For the 37-year-old Thurman, Saturday night is about proving that his "One Time" power hasn’t faded. Thurman has looked sharp in his recent outings. He secured a unanimous decision over Mario Barrios and, most recently in March 2025, traveled to Australia to deliver a clinical third-round knockout of Brock Jarvis.

"Yeah, you know, there was a point I think about a year ago, I knew that he could beat Fundora. And after seeing Fundora over this last year, year and a half, I’m like, I don’t know, I really don’t know if anyone can beat Fundora at 54." You know, I do know that Keith is special, and he’s got this special combination; it’s really hard to contend with. I’m going to pick Keith to win this one. I’mma pick Keith to win this one," Shawn Porter

"Keith Thurman ain’t got nothing for Fundora. Oh, you heard it here first. Yep, Fundora might even knock his ass out. Oh yeah, oh yeah. He was supposed to beat Manny Pacquiao. He couldn’t beat a 40-year-old Pacquiao; he ain’t beating a damn young… hell no. With all that speed and that length, and that punching power coming from Fundora and that work rate. That’s all it was for Pacquiao was work rate. Pacquiao put those combinations together, had him on his bike," Tim Bradley

"What’s up? It’s Danny Garcia. My official prediction for Thurman versus Fundora: I’mma go with Thurman on the upset by knockout," Danny Garcia

"I think, I think Keith Thurman stops him. Yeah. It’s just the experience. Keith has been there. He’s been in the gutter. Fundora really hasn’t. And when he has, you know what I mean, uh, I think that I just, I just think Keith got too many guns for him. I think that Keith is a type of guy that he wants it bad enough that he’ll figure out a way to win," Buddy McGirt

"Everything in me want to go with Keith. That’s my man. We came up together, um we go way back. But there’s a big part of me, um that actually want to go with Fundora. Um, my bad, Keith, man. But I got to keep it real with myself and the fans, man. I just wanted to put it out there, man. I’m rooting for Keith. I hope Keith win. He definitely always got a puncher’s chance. Hopefully he can get Fundora up out of there. But in my personal opinion, I’m going with Fundora, man," Gary Russell Jr.
