Sean Strickland threatens hotel lobby confrontation with Chimaev

Sean Strickland says he will hunt down Khamzat Chimaev in the fighter hotel lobby at UFC 328 if he believes the promotion is treating their camps differently.

The former middleweight champion posted on social media that the UFC is attempting to restrict his interactions with Chimaev ahead of their scheduled bout. "I will say this now. I will not be controlled by a third world dog," Strickland wrote, per Sherdog. "If I find there is unequal treatment between our camps I will walk to the lobby and wait for him."

Strickland's post suggested frustration with what he sees as organizational interference in the pre-fight buildup. He directed his comments at both the promotion and Chimaev, adding, "Control your whore or dont. I dont care."

The comments mark the latest escalation between the two middleweights, who have traded barbs on social media in recent weeks. Chimaev holds a 14-0 record and has not fought since submitting Robert Whittaker at UFC 308 in October.

UFC 328 takes place March 15 in Las Vegas.
