Sean Strickland threatens UFC 328 hotel lobby confrontation with Chimaev

Sean Strickland says he will confront Khamzat Chimaev in the fighter hotel lobby at UFC 328 if the promotion limits his interactions while giving Chimaev a free pass.

The former middleweight champion posted on social media that the UFC is attempting to restrict his contact with Chimaev ahead of their scheduled bout. "I will not be controlled by a third world dog," Strickland wrote, according to Sherdog. "If I find there is unequal treatment between our camps I will walk to the lobby and wait for him."

Strickland's post suggests the promotion intervened to keep the two fighters separated during fight week, though the nature of any specific UFC directive remains unclear. He closed his message with a warning directed at the promotion: "Control your whore or dont. I dont care."

The matchup pairs Strickland's outspoken persona against Chimaev's physical intensity in what ranks among the most volatile pairings the UFC has booked in recent months. Neither fighter has commented publicly on any formal restrictions imposed by UFC officials.
