Ronald Humphrey will make his UFC debut against Nikolay Veretennikov at UFC 335 on Dec. 12 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, MMA Junkie first reported.
Humphrey earned his contract during Season 10 of Dana White's Contender Series by stopping Alexis Miranda in the first round. The 26-year-old welterweight enters the Octagon with a perfect 5-0 record and a 100 percent finishing rate — four knockouts and one submission, with no opponent surviving past the opening frame. MMA Mania noted that Humphrey delivered one of the season's most memorable post-fight interviews after his contract-winning performance.

Veretennikov Presents Experience Test For Humphrey
Veretennikov carries a 14-8 overall record and has struggled to find consistency in the UFC, posting a 2-4 mark inside the Octagon. The 35-year-old Russian was knocked out by Khaos Williams in his most recent outing but holds a notable finish over fan favorite Niko Price, stopping him in under two minutes.
While Veretennikov appears to be a winnable matchup on paper for the undefeated prospect, the veteran brings considerably more professional and UFC experience to the cage. Humphrey, nicknamed "The Career Ender," will test whether his first-round finishing streak translates to the sport's biggest stage.
