Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has opened up about his love for role-playing games, revealing an obsession with Skyrim, The Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of his heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight debut.

Whittaker sat down with MMA Fighting's Jose Youngs for the latest Anything But Fighting segment, where he discussed his gaming habits alongside his upcoming move to 205 pounds at UFC 329. The Australian also cited the original Pokémon series and Digimon among his longtime favorites, per the interview published Wednesday.

The 26-9 fighter is looking to rebound from a loss to Reinier de Ridder last July, a setback that prompted his decision to leave the middleweight division after a decade among its elite. Whittaker's résumé at 185 pounds includes victories over Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori, Kelvin Gastelum, Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, and Derek Brunson.

Whittaker did not specify whether his gaming routines change during fight camp or if he uses them as mental recovery between training sessions. UFC 329 does not yet have a confirmed date or venue.
