Dominick Reyes stopped Azamat Murzakanov in under three minutes at UFC 333 but spent the hours after his knockout win trading barbs with commentator Daniel Cormier.

Reyes dropped Murzakanov with a head kick Saturday in Abu Dhabi and sealed the finish with a left hand, his second straight victory after a split decision over Johnny Walker in April. The performance drew praise from observers but left Reyes frustrated with Cormier's cage-side call, per MMA Fighting.

The former heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight title challenger posted on Twitter that Cormier repeatedly referred to him as "kid" during the broadcast and showed favoritism toward fighters from the Caucasus region. Reyes wrote that co-commentator Paul Felder pointed out the bias on air, to which Cormier laughed. "Your clear bias towards fighters from the [Caucasus] region is frustrating, especially being an American fighter," Reyes wrote, according to the report. Cormier trains regularly with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev, both from Dagestan.

Cormier tried to defuse the exchange, writing that he only speaks the truth and praised Reyes for the stoppage. "I told your team how amazing you looked tonight this may have been your best performance," he wrote. Reyes replied that he wanted unbiased commentary, not friendship. "I only care that you have unbiased, well-informed color commentary," he posted.

Hours later Reyes walked back the confrontation, writing that everyone involved was doing their best and that he would not change anything about his fighting career. The two fighters are scheduled to appear at the UFC 334 post-fight press conference next week.
