Prates Riding Three-Fight Finish Streak

The Brazilian is on a three-fight tear with consecutive stoppages over Geoff Neal, former welterweight titleholder Leon Edwards, and ex-champion Jack Della Maddalena. His last setback came against Garry in a bout he nearly salvaged late. Prates has gone 14-1 over his last 15 outings and holds a career finish rate north of 80 percent.

Makhachev said he plans to fight again before Ramadan, which could push a return into January 2027.
