The Professional Fighters League is rolling out a fan engagement initiative across its next five events, the promotion announced Wednesday.
The PFL Summer Series kicks off with the San Diego card Saturday and runs through the Tampa event on Aug. 22, according to Sherdog. The promotion plans to host meet-and-greets, photo sessions, watch parties, ceremonial weigh-ins and restaurant takeovers at stops in Austin, Washington D.C., New York and Charlotte.
PFL Summer Series schedule and venues
The series opens at Pechanga Arena in San Diego on Saturday, June 27, with the main card airing at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. Austin's Moody Center follows on July 18, then CareFirst Arena in the nation's capital on July 25. The promotion moves to UBS Arena on Long Island for the New York show July 31 before hitting Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte on Aug. 7. The Tampa finale at Benchmark International Arena closes the stretch.
The league said more fan experiences tied to the summer series will be revealed in coming weeks. The San Diego event features a featherweight headliner, with additional signings and matchups still to be announced across the remaining cards.
