Cris Cyborg will close out her mixed martial arts career against former UFC bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira in the main event of PFL Tampa on Aug. 22, MMA Mania reports.

The PFL featherweight champion enters on a nine-fight win streak and holds a 29-2 record. Cyborg last fought Sara Collins, submitting her to capture the vacant PFL strap. Before that, she outpointed Larissa Pacheco to become the only fighter in history to win world titles across five major promotions. She has also compiled a 7-0 professional boxing record with five knockouts during her combat sports run.

Vieira moving up to featherweight after UFC release

Vieira was cut by UFC despite winning her final octagon appearance, a decision victory over prospect Jacqueline Cavalcanti in May. The Brazilian went 16-5 across 15 fights with the promotion, spending years ranked in the top fifteen at bantamweight. Since 2022 she has alternated results, beating Holly Holm and Miesha Tate while dropping fights to Kayla Harrison, Raquel Pennington, and Norma Dumont. This marks just her second professional bout at featherweight.

No undercard bouts have been announced yet for the August event at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa. Cyborg's farewell marks the end of a career that spanned Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, Bellator, and PFL.
