O'Neill Returns At UFC 331 In Los Angeles
Casey O'Neill returns to the octagon in September when she meets Eduarda Moura at UFC 331 in Los Angeles.
Multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting that the flyweight bout is set for Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena, with the UFC announcing the date and venue Saturday. Reporter Leo Guimaraes first broke the matchup on social media.
O'Neill Looks To Build On Knockout Win
The Scottish fighter opened her UFC run with four straight victories before dropping one-sided decisions to Jennifer Maia and Ariane Lipski. She rebounded with consecutive wins, capping that streak with a first-round knockout of Gabriella Fernandes at UFC Seattle in March — her first appearance in nearly two years.
Moura brings a 3-2 UFC record into the bout but has struggled with the scale, missing weight three times since joining the promotion. The 32-year-old lost a decision to Wang Cong at UFC Vegas 113 in February after coming in heavy for that contest.
UFC 331 still lacks an announced headliner with less than seven weeks until fight night.
