O'Neill Pursues Winning Streak Against Moura At UFC 331
A women's flyweight bout between Casey O'Neill and Eduarda Moura has been added to UFC 331 on Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports including Leo Guimaraes and Sherdog.
O'Neill enters the contest looking to extend a two-fight winning streak after dropping consecutive bouts to Jennifer Maia and Ariane Lipski. The Australian-Scottish fighter won her first four UFC appearances before that rough patch, then rebounded with decisions over Luana Santos and Gabriella Fernandes. Her knockout of Fernandes in March came after a nearly two-year layoff from the Octagon.
Moura Looks To Bounce Back From Wang Loss
Moura brings a 3-2 promotional record into the matchup. The Brazilian Dana White's Contender Series graduate dropped a unanimous decision to Cong Wang in February and will be looking to snap that skid in Los Angeles.
O'Neill holds an 11-2 overall record, while Moura sits at 12-2. Both fighters compete in a flyweight division that continues to stack its September lineup with competitive pairings ahead of the fall.
