Nurmagomedov Bought Yan's Limited-Edition BMW X5

Usman Nurmagomedov once purchased one of Petr Yan's most exclusive cars, the UFC bantamweight champion revealed recently.

Yan told Kickdown in an interview that the unbeaten Dagestani bought a limited-edition BMW X5 from him, a vehicle so rare that only 250 existed worldwide in that color. "Khabib Nurmagomedov's brother, Usman, bought that car from me later," Yan said, per Sherdog. "There were only 12 of these cars in Russia, and only 250 in the world. There were 12 in Russia in this specific color."

Mutual Respect Despite Competing Camps

The car transaction reflects the relationship between the two fighters, who maintain mutual respect even though they come from different camps. Yan's bantamweight division includes Umar Nurmagomedov, Usman's brother, as a top contender.

Yan defends his title against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 in October in Abu Dhabi. Usman Nurmagomedov remains the most sought-after free agent in MMA after capturing the PFL lightweight title, with the UFC reportedly pursuing him aggressively.

The PFL holds a 90-day exclusive negotiation window following Nurmagomedov's last bout. He has already turned down an offer worth $2 million per fight, according to reports, and a recent Instagram post suggests a UFC move could be imminent.
