Myktybek Orolbai faces Jeremiah Wells at UFC 330 in Philadelphia
Myktybek Orolbai will look to extend his winning streak when he meets Jeremiah Wells at UFC 330 in Philadelphia.
Orolbai announced the welterweight matchup on social media, and MMA Fighting later confirmed the booking. The event takes place at Xfinity Mobile Arena and features a main event between Islam Makhachev and Ian Garry for the welterweight title.
Orolbai riding three-fight win streak
The 28-year-old from Kyrgyzstan has won his last three outings and sits at 5-1 in UFC competition. Orolbai most recently earned a decision over Chris Curtis at UFC Fight Night 269 in March. That victory followed back-to-back stoppages of Tofiq Musayev and Jack Hermansson.
Wells snapped a two-fight skid last November with a decision win over Themba Gorimbo at UFC Fight Night 263. The 39-year-old holds a 5-2 record inside the octagon, with finishes of Warlley Alves, Mike Mathetha, and Court McGee in his first three promotional appearances.
UFC 330 airs from Philadelphia with Makhachev defending his welterweight strap against Garry in the headliner.
