Muhammad Mokaev says four top-tier opponents backed out of grappling bouts after initially agreeing to face him in a single week.

The undefeated flyweight posted on social media that he accepted matches against former One Championship titleholder Adriano Moraes and UFC flyweights Asu Almabayev, Alibi Idiris, and Ramazonbek Temirov, per Sherdog. All four reportedly agreed before withdrawing within 24 hours.

Mokaev Secures Boleian Match After Hectic Week

"It was crazy week," Mokaev wrote on X. "Signed to compete 4 names in 1 week (Adriano Moraes, Asu Almabayev, Alibi Idiris & Ramazan Temirov) And they all too but next day the didn't want to. At the end only this guy accepted."

Mokaev eventually landed a matchup with Moris Boleian for the ACBJJ 60kg Grand Title on Aug. 30 at Ora Arena in Istanbul. The 16-0 fighter has stayed active across multiple combat sports since his UFC exit in 2024, finishing three of four MMA wins and notching one victory in Karate Combat.

Boleian carries an 8-1 record with eight submission wins before dropping a split decision at UAE Warriors in January. Mokaev last competed in grappling against a larger Arman Tsarukyan, suffering his lone mat loss in that contest.
