Renato Carneiro has called out Dana White for what he described as an insensitive sequence of Instagram posts following the death of UFC flyweight Allan Nascimento.
White posted a tribute to Nascimento, who died in his sleep at 34 from a heart attack, on his Instagram Stories earlier this week. The next story showed the UFC president smoking a cigar with the caption "Great Day," per Sherdog.

Moicano's Response To White's Instagram Sequence
Carneiro, who had mourned his Brazilian compatriot on social media days earlier, wrote on X that White "messed up on this one." The lightweight added: "We really are just passing through this cruel big world! Only Jesus saves."
The posts were unrelated but appeared back-to-back in White's Stories feed, sparking criticism from fans who flagged the poor optics. Carneiro returned to winning ways earlier this year with a victory over Chris Duncan after consecutive losses to Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush.
