Miller Stops Goff In Brutal Third-Round Finish

Tom Rashid

Undefeated welterweight Ty Miller destroyed Billy Ray Goff in the third round at UFC Vegas 120 on Saturday night, scoring a knockout after Goff's corner sent him out for the final frame with what appeared to be a badly damaged orbital bone.

Miller controlled the fight from the opening bell, according to MMA Mania, using his reach to land jabs, body shots, head kicks and uppercuts while Goff struggled to close the distance. The one-sided beating left Goff with a suspected right orbital injury by the end of the second round, but his corner allowed him to continue.

Miller's Knockout Finish at UFC Vegas 120

The decision proved costly. Miller landed a clean right hand seconds into the third that shut Goff down and forced the referee to wave off the contest. The finish capped a dominant performance from Miller, who outstruck Goff across all three rounds at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Miller now cements himself as a welterweight prospect to track heading into 2027. Goff suffered his latest setback in a career marked by tough losses inside the Octagon.

The UFC has not announced Miller's next booking. Goff will likely need medical clearance before returning to competition given the nature of the orbital injury sustained Saturday night.
