Page Vows To Gift UFC Paris Fans A Moment
Michael Page wants to deliver a signature moment at UFC Paris this Saturday.
Page faces Nursulton Ruziboev on the final fight of his UFC contract, and the veteran welterweight told MMA Junkie he intends to produce the kind of highlight-reel finish that made his name in Bellator. "I want to gift a moment that I've gifted many times in Bellator," he said. "I want to gift to the UFC a moment in history that everyone is going to remember, a clip that everyone is going to keep playing over and over again just because it was that spectacular."
Page's UFC Future Remains Uncertain
The former Bellator standout has struggled to secure consistent matchups against top welterweights since joining the UFC, but he remains focused on leaving an impression regardless of what comes next. Page told the outlet he has unfinished business in the promotion but acknowledged the decision to extend his contract is not entirely up to him.
Page described himself as content with his career across multiple combat sports disciplines, from bare-knuckle boxing to jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. "I'm happy with what I've achieved, where I've come, how well I've done, the name I've created for myself," he said, per MMA Junkie.
UFC Paris takes place Saturday in France.
