Reports indicated that the fight was being held up by the failure to set a suitable catchweight, given the difference in weight that they usually fight at.

KSI had initially claimed that Fury had backtracked on his promise to fight at 180 lbs. In response, Fury left a final ultimatum of a bout at 185 lbs.

"Just a few things to clear up; KSI’s only just agreed to do drug testing for this fight. Took his time with that one. And now he’s complaining about the weight. This fight’s at 185, take-it-or-leave it.

"I know you’re a midget and you’re worrying about the weight but get some more food down you and you’ll get there. If you just don’t want to fight, I know somebody who will fight in October, somebody who is ready to fight and will get to 185.

"Jake Paul, if you want to run it back, let’s do it, fine by me. I’ll knock you spark out this time. So let me know boys," Fury

But now it appears that the latter has been accepted.

The fight will throw up a few interesting dynamics. KSI will be looking to do something that Jake Paul couldn’t following the latter’s split-decision loss against Fury.

In addition, the fight also demonstrates that Fury’s ambitions do not lie at winning a world title since a win over KSI would do nothing for his legacy. And yet, there is no denying that the fight will prove lucrative.

Fury’s fight with Paul drew in over 500,000 pay-per-view buys. And in the process of doing so, it is alleged that Fury pocked $5 million for the fight.

A similar ballpark figure could emerge with KSI, given the mass Youtube audience he does possess. With over 16 million Youtube subscribers and a win over Logan Paul, the winner will take home the bragging rights.
