Kevin Lee Opens Dallas Restaurant After UFC Career
Former UFC title challenger Kevin Lee opened a comfort-food restaurant in Dallas on Sunday.
Lee celebrated the grand opening of Braised at PREP Dallas on Regal Row, serving complimentary meals to the first 30 customers alongside his brother Keith Lee, a food critic with a massive social-media following. The restaurant focuses on slow-cooked meats and elevated comfort dishes, with a menu that includes braised oxtail, barbecue beef short ribs, chicken pot pie, short-rib lasagna, lamb chops and slow-cooked chicken wings.
From Florida Pop-Up to Dallas Brick-and-Mortar
Lee first launched Braised as a pop-up stand at a Hollywood, Florida farmers market in 2024 before expanding into a food truck and catering operation. The concept gained traction after Keith secretly reviewed his brother's oxtail, short ribs and duck from his car, generating millions of views and selling out the pop-up within three hours the next day. Keith also invested $10,000 into the business.
Lee expects the oxtail — slow-cooked for hours and finished in its own gravy — to anchor the menu. "I think it's going to be the real star of the show," he told The Dallas Morning News.
Lee challenged Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight title in 2017 and went 11-8 inside the Octagon before moving to PFL. He retired from MMA after a first-round TKO loss to Gadzhi Rabadanov in June 2025.
