Fans immediately speculated Holland fit the profile — 29 Octagon appearances across nine years, 10 fight night bonuses, and a 24-hour notice replacement against Khamzat Chimaev that likely came with serious money attached.

Holland's Instagram Response

Holland addressed the rumours Wednesday morning on his Instagram story. "That fighter's not me," he said, according to the report. "I'm just now waking up. I'll tell you all right now, that fighter's not me. Don't listen to that stuff."

Dan Ige emerged as another candidate — 22 UFC bouts including two main events and an eight-hour notice fill-in against Diego Lopes at UFC 303. White has not identified the fighter publicly, which leaves the MMA community guessing.
