Hokit Fires Back At Paul's $1M NFL Challenge

UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit has accepted Jake Paul's challenge after the YouTuber-turned-boxer offered $1 million to any NFL player willing to step into the ring with him.

Paul posted on X that no NFL player could survive two professional boxing rounds against him, while claiming he could catch a touchdown pass without any preparation. "Will pay any NFL player $1 million dollars if you can box me better than I run routes against you," Paul wrote, per Sherdog. "Internet is judge. Will send my jet to pick you up who's down?"

Hokit's Confident Response To Paul's Offer

Hokit, a former NFL prospect who went undrafted in 2020 before signing briefly with the San Francisco 49ers, fired back with a sweeping claim. "With all due respect, Not only could I beat you in a boxing match, I'd beat you in any sport under the sun," the undefeated heavyweight posted.

Paul dismissed the callout as a publicity grab but left the door open for a bout in Puerto Rico. "I see your hustle. You do your best to sell," Paul responded. "If you want to fly down to Puerto Rico and box - anytime I will gladly embarrass you."

Hokit sits at 10-0 in MMA with four UFC wins, three knockouts, and three performance bonuses. His football career never materialized after going undrafted, leading him to transition to mixed martial arts. He has built a following through outspoken social media exchanges and cage finishes.

No date or venue has been set for a potential matchup between the two.
