Jean Silva has no memory of his TKO defeat to Diego Lopes at last year's Noche UFC.

The Brazilian featherweight stopped Jose Miguel Delgado in the third round of Saturday's Noche UFC main event in Glendale, Arizona. After the win, Silva told reporters he considers it his actual first UFC headliner because he cannot recall anything from the Lopes fight, as MMA Fighting first reported.

"I pulled them aside in a corner before the fight tonight and told them, I don't have any memories of what happened at Noche UFC last year," Silva said through a translator at the post-fight press conference. "I know that in world history, the books are going to say this was my second main event, but to me, it was the first."

What Silva Lost Beyond The Fight

Lopes dropped Silva with a spinning back elbow in the second round of their September 2025 bout before finishing with ground strikes in what became a Fight of the Year candidate. Per Sherdog, Lopes dominated the opening frame before Silva mounted a comeback in the second, only to be caught by the fight-ending sequence.

Silva picked up another Performance of the Night bonus against Delgado after surviving an early knockdown and locking in a rear-naked choke in round three. The victory puts him back in the mix at 145 pounds, with former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling reportedly calling for a title eliminator between the two at UFC 334 in November.

"As we like to say in Brazil, it's talk me up, talk me down, talk about me," Silva said when asked about Sterling. The two could meet at Madison Square Garden if the UFC books the matchup.
