Jason Moloney signs with Zuffa Boxing as bantamweight push continues
Former bantamweight world champion Jason Moloney has signed with Zuffa Boxing, according to a Sky Sports report.
The 35-year-old Australian, who holds a 29-4 record with 20 knockouts, is positioned as the WBC's No. 3 contender at 118 pounds and is looking for another title shot under his new promotional banner.

"I love what Zuffa is doing, giving the fans great fights every time and matching the best against the best," Moloney told Sky Sports. "That's what I'm all about, fighting the best and becoming the best."
Moloney last fought in April, when he beat Andre Donovan by unanimous decision in Australia. The signing gives Zuffa another former titleholder with name recognition as the company builds its roster.
Zuffa is expected to book Moloney quickly, with a fall fight date likely as he chases the top two spots in the WBC rankings.
