Smith Draws Brown On Halloween After Perfect Start

Unbeaten welterweight Jacobe Smith will put his 13-0 record on the line against UFC veteran Randy Brown on Halloween.

Smith stopped Bruce Whitehead in 92 seconds at UFC 332 earlier this month, extending his UFC run to 4-0 since earning a contract on Dana White's Contender Series. The 30-year-old reportedly draws Brown for UFC Fight Night 292 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas on Oct. 31, according to Marcel Dorff.

Brown Seeks Rebound After Back-to-Back Losses

Brown has competed in the UFC since 2016 and holds 22 octagon appearances, but enters on a two-fight skid after consecutive defeats to Gabriel Bonfim and Kevin Holland. The welterweight clash serves as an opportunity for the veteran to halt his slide against an unproven prospect.

Sherdog and Dorff both confirmed the matchup for the Las Vegas card, which features a lightweight headliner between Renato Moicano and Tom Nolan. Smith faces his most experienced opponent to date after three consecutive first-round finishes in the UFC.
