The British prospect shoved Hrgović off the stage during the face-off, prompting the Croatian to attempt a retaliatory slap before security stepped in, ESPN reported. Both fighters made weight without incident before the staredown escalated.

Itauma enters as the betting favourite despite his relative inexperience, having compiled an undefeated record with a string of early stoppages. Hrgović, a former world title challenger, represents the toughest test of the young heavyweight's career to date.
