Haney-Paro Unification Reportedly Agreed

Boxing News Staff
Boxing Editorial Team ·

Devin Haney and Liam Paro have agreed to a WBO/IBF unification by the end of the year.

Haney hasn’t boxed since beating Brian Norman Jr. in November 2025. Keyshawn Davis turned down an offer for a mandatory defense and chose to pursue Richardson Hitchins instead. Talks with Shakur Stevenson then fell apart.

Paro upset Subriel Matias for the IBF lightweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super lightweight title in 2024, then narrowly lost to Hitchins in his first defense. Since moving up to 147, he beat David Papot and then took the IBF title from Lewis Crocker.
