Gheirati Returns From Surgery To Face Nakrob At ONE 48

Parham Gheirati returns from a year-long surgery recovery to face Nakrob Fairtex in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 48 on Friday, October 2.

The 22-year-old Iranian has not competed since October 2025, when he stopped Tyson Harrison in the second round at ONE Friday Fights 127. He suffered an injury before that bout that required surgery and forced him off the card at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, per BJPenn.com.

Gheirati told the outlet he is cleared and ready to resume his climb toward the $100,000 main roster contract he earned last year after finishing George Mouzakitis in three rounds. "It's been some tough period for me over the last two fights," he said, referring to a loss against Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon before the Harrison win. "But I made sure I was back to full fitness before this fight. So, my body is now feeling very good."

Gheirati's Rise From Petchsaman Gym

The bantamweight found his footing at Petchsaman Gym in Pattaya after what he described as a rough early stretch in Thailand. He knocked out Samingnum M Ekachart in his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 40 in November 2023, then reeled off five straight wins to secure his contract. That streak included the Mouzakitis stoppage and a first win that, according to Gheirati, changed everything. "I had so many problems here, and I needed to pay for so many things. It was a difficult time," he said. "Winning the contract later, it was like the most happiness I've ever felt in my life."

Nakrob awaits as Gheirati's first test since surgery. The card streams live in U.S. primetime on Prime Video from Lumpinee Stadium.
