Silva Stops Kimbo Slice Jr At Brand Risk 15
Gabe Silva knocked out Kevin Ferguson in the second round at Brand Risk 15 on Saturday night, landing a clean left hook that ended the son-versus-son matchup in Miami.
Silva, the son of former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, caught Ferguson flush midway through the second frame. Ferguson, who fights under the name Baby Slice and is the son of late MMA pioneer Kimbo Slice, hit the canvas and could not continue, per MMA Mania.
FaZe Temperrr Knocked Out Again
The main event lasted just 97 seconds. Austin McBroom dropped FaZe Temperrr with an overhand left, sending the influencer to the mat in what promoter Adin Ross called "one of the nastiest KO's we've seen on Brand Risk," according to the outlet. The finish marked Temperrr's fourth knockout loss in influencer boxing.
The co-main event between bodybuilder Larry Wheels and YouTuber Vitaly ended in a no contest after Wheels ruptured his bicep while ahead on the scorecards. Another no contest came when YK Osiris knocked down Bob Menery in 30 seconds, then hit him with a body shot while Menery was still on the canvas.
Island Boys member Kodiyak Red was stopped by Jeremy Smith in the first round. Brand Risk 15 streamed live from the promotion's Miami warehouse.
