Fury On Joshua Refusing Fight Agreement

Tyson Fury says Anthony Joshua has failed to finalize a deal for their long-discussed all-British heavyweight bout.

The former two-time champion told media that the matchup no longer appears headed for the ring, according to ESPN. Fury had previously indicated both camps were close to agreement on terms for a summer showdown, but negotiations have stalled.

Why the Fury-Joshua Fight Remains Unsigned

Joshua's team has not publicly commented on the status of talks. The two heavyweights have circled each other for years without reaching the contract stage, despite repeated assurances from both sides that the fight would eventually happen.

Fury holds a decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk in his most recent outing last December. Joshua bounced back from consecutive losses to Usyk with a knockout win over Robert Helenius in August and a decision over Jermaine Franklin earlier this year.

Both fighters remain active in the heavyweight division, but no timeline has been announced for either man's next appearance.
