Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will settle their heavyweight rivalry Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with the bout streaming live on Netflix.

Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, announced the date and venue after years of collapsed negotiations between the two former champions. "For 15 years no one has been able to make this fight," Alalshikh said, per BJ Penn. "The time for talking is over."

Fury Promises Early Finish Against Joshua

Fury posted a video on Instagram vowing to stop Joshua quickly, according to MMA Fighting. He pointed to Joshua's recent first-round knockdowns as proof his opponent cannot handle his power. The Gypsy King predicted the fastest knockout of Joshua's career.

The fight location became a sticking point after Fury's camp reportedly pushed for Madison Square Garden instead of the United Kingdom, which Joshua's team had agreed to in initial terms. Matchroom's Eddie Hearn, who represents Joshua, expressed confidence the bout would remain on British soil before the official announcement.

Both fighters last held world titles before suffering recent defeats. Fury dropped a decision to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch last year, while Joshua fell to Daniel Dubois in his most recent outing.
