Fury Blames Hearn's "Ego" For Joshua Fight Delay

Tyson Fury says Eddie Hearn's resistance to Dana White and TKO's involvement is behind the delay in finalizing his proposed November 20 fight with Anthony Joshua, putting the fight's chances at "50/50."

"We'll see whose ego gets in the way here. And I believe it's Eddie Hearn's ego. I believe because they think Dana White's involved and TKO that he's like, 'Why should they be involved?'" Fury

Hearn confirmed Joshua has received the remaining money owed from his July win over Kristian Prenga, with talks now centered on the terms needed to shift the fight from the UK — as Joshua's original deal specified — to New York, including the added tax burden of fighting stateside.

"We've set out our position, mainly in concern to the tax situation that will deplete his net purse by going to America, which can be rectified. I think they're happy to do that.

"If they want it there, they'll sign it. If not, we'll be very happy, and we'll do it in the UK. We're speaking multiple times a day, but we're running out of time," Hearn

Fury says he isn't personally involved in negotiations. Madison Square Garden remains the expected venue if the fight moves to the U.S., though nothing has been finalized.
