Diego Ferreira returned to the Just Scrap Radio podcast to preview his UFC Vegas 120 co-main event against Billy Quarantillo, addressing his nine-month layoff and recent camp changes.

The Brazilian lightweight told host Cole Shelton on BJPENN.com that he relocated to train closer to Fortis MMA ahead of Saturday's bout against the featherweight moving up in weight. Ferreira last competed in September, and he explained the reasons behind the extended absence during the podcast appearance.

The 39-year-old discussed whether Quarantillo's natural size at featherweight will factor into the matchup, breaking down the stylistic elements of the fight and how he expects the action to unfold inside the Apex. Ferreira also addressed what a victory would mean for his career trajectory and how much longer he plans to compete.

The co-main event sits beneath the main event pairing of Mateusz Gamrot and Qullian Salkilld. The card also features Amanda Lemos against Alexia Thainara and veteran Darren Elkins facing Yadier del Valle.
