Darren Till banned from Misfits Boxing event in Manchester
Darren Till has been barred from attending Misfits Boxing's June 13 event in Manchester, despite planning to support Matt Floyd's heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight title fight against Anthony Taylor.
Till, who recently left Misfits to join BKFC, disclosed the ban on social media Monday. "Just been informed that I am not allowed to attend the Misfits Boxing event on Saturday," he wrote, per MMA Mania. "I've never heard or seen anything so f*cking ridiculous in my life. Apparently John Fury has it in a contract from July that any event Tommy Fury is a part of, I am not allowed to be at."
Origins of the Till-Fury feud
The former UFC middleweight was scheduled to box Tommy Fury in early 2025 before Fury withdrew, citing concerns that Till would resort to MMA tactics during the bout. The two camps clashed violently at the pre-fight presser, with Till and patriarch John Fury trading blows that ultimately scuttled the matchup.
Till said the contractual restriction stems from that canceled event. He plans to attend anyway. "By the way I'm still turning up on a random ticket with a cap and glasses on so we'll see," he added. "You gang of cowards."
Floyd challenges Taylor in Saturday's co-main event beneath the Hall-Fury headliner, which streams on DAZN pay-per-view.
