When a reporter asked the UFC president which fight on Saturday's card he's most looking forward to, White dismissed the query outright, per Sherdog. He told the reporter it was a poor question and said he just wants a few exciting moments from the event.
White's Answer Sparks Fan Criticism Of UFC Commitment
The exchange spread quickly online, with many fans interpreting White's curt reply as evidence he's losing interest in the promotion amid his expanding business ventures. One user suggested a reporter should directly ask White why he no longer cares about the UFC, while another criticized his failure to promote the fighters and build excitement for the promotion's Serbia debut.
White had several options to highlight, including hometown fighter Uros Medic taking on Daniel Rodriguez in the main event and former champion Jan Blachowicz facing undefeated Navajo Stirling.
UFC Belgrade marks the promotion's first event in Serbia and airs Saturday night.
