Dana White Teases Blockbuster Event After White House Show

Dana White is already planning another major UFC event after the promotion's historic White House show this summer.

The UFC president told The Pat McAfee Show that production chief Craig Borsari pitched a new idea following his work on the White House card. "Now my head of production Craig Borsari is so cocky after he absolutely killed that event, we are talking about something right now that he came up with — this was his idea — and I love it," White said, per MMA Fighting. "I have to do some more ground work on it."

White House Event Set New Standard For UFC

White called the White House show the greatest event he has been part of in his promotional career. The card drew widespread attention when it was first announced, with some dismissing the idea before it became reality earlier this summer. "There will never be anything like the White House again," White told McAfee. "That night, we already had high expectations for it and I was blown away. It's the greatest thing that I've ever been a part of. Being there live was amazing."

The promotion boss offered no specifics on what Borsari proposed or where the next spectacle might take place. White has been splitting focus between UFC expansion and Zuffa Boxing in recent months.

No timeline has been announced for the next special event.
