Cris Cyborg stopped short of announcing retirement after beating Ketlen Vieira at PFL Tampa on Saturday, telling reporters she needs time to decide whether she'll compete again.

The 41-year-old featherweight champion extended her winning streak to 10 fights with the victory, though the bout lost its title status when Vieira missed weight by seven pounds. Cyborg told MMA Junkie at the post-fight press conference that she will take a break and let PFL's ongoing merger with Most Valuable Promotions play out before making her next move.

"I don't know if I'm going to have a fight again," Cyborg said, per the report. "I'm 41 years old. … I wanted to 30 victories in my career. No woman did this. I'm very happy to have broken one more record."

Cyborg, who has not lost since Amanda Nunes knocked her out in late 2018, said she feels younger than her age suggests. She noted that 21 years of main events and title fights have taught her plenty, including lessons from Saturday's win over the former UFC bantamweight contender.

"I want to take a little break and see what's going to happen," Cyborg said. "All this 21 years of training and all these things that happened in my life, it's a learning process. Even today in this fight I learned a lot of things."

The Brazilian champion added that she has plans beyond fighting despite remaining at the top of the women's featherweight division. PFL has not announced whether Cyborg will defend her title again or if she will transition to a non-fighting role with the promotion.
