Crawford Hints At Comeback With 'Maybe One More' Post
Terence Crawford posted cryptic messages on social media Tuesday suggesting he could return to the ring months after retiring as undisputed middleweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super middleweight champion.
"Maybe one more!" Crawford wrote on X, per The Ring. "Hurry up, I don't got forever or all day to be waiting."
Crawford Calls Out Garcia and Davis
Crawford then targeted Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis in follow-up posts. He asked Garcia about a 160-pound clash before noting Garcia has a Floyd Mayweather fight to focus on. Crawford wrote he wished he could drop to 135 to face Davis, adding that the idle knockout artist "talks too much, but be picking and choosing."
The 39-year-old former five-division champion retired in December after beating Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision in September to claim the undisputed middleweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super middleweight title. He exited the sport as the pound-for-pound king despite calls from Alvarez and others for a rematch.
Crawford went 42-0 with 31 knockouts across his career and has since begun work as a commentator for DAZN and TNT's "The Fight" series. No timeline has been set for a potential return.
