Waldo Cortes-Acosta wants to knock out all of Josh Hokit's teeth.
The Cuban heavyweight meets Johnny Walker in Saturday's UFC Vegas 124 main event looking to snap a two-fight skid. Cortes-Acosta rattled off three straight knockout wins before the recent slide, and a finish of Walker would put him back in position as the heavyweight division churns toward a title fight between Hokit and champion Ciryl Gane next weekend at UFC 334.

Cortes-Acosta On Hokit's Trash Talk
Cortes-Acosta told MMA Fighting he is encouraged by the movement at the top of the division. Hokit has gone 4-0 in the UFC and talked his way into a title shot, but the former NFL player's trash talk has rubbed Cortes-Acosta the wrong way. If the two ever meet, Cortes-Acosta said he wants to shut Hokit up — violently.
He made clear he has no respect for Hokit and would relish the chance to face him. Cortes-Acosta told the outlet he is not a fan and wants to one day meet Hokit in the cage, where he intends to remove his opponent's teeth with one brutal sequence.

Walker is dangerous and has finished opponents before, but Cortes-Acosta has stopped lesser foes in the past. A win Saturday puts the Cuban back on track heading into 2027 with fresh heavyweight matchups on the horizon.
