Khamzat Chimaev's undefeated training partner Baisangur Susurkaev will face Damian Pinas at UFC 335 on Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, per a VestnikMMA report carried by Sherdog.
The matchup follows weeks of social media sparring between the two middleweights. Susurkaev sparked the rivalry by claiming he did not know who Pinas was, prompting Pinas to call him out after stopping Cesar Almeida in July. Pinas reiterated the challenge following his first-round finish of Andrey Pulyaev in October.

Pinas has stopped all 11 of his professional wins, with his only defeat coming via disqualification for an illegal kick on the Brazilian regional scene in 2024. The Brazilian has finished all three of his UFC opponents inside the opening round since earning his contract on Dana White's Contender Series last year.
Susurkaev, a Chechen welterweight who trains alongside Chimaev, has also stopped all three of his UFC opponents. The 12-0 fighter has only seen the judges' scorecards once in his career.

Susurkaev was originally scheduled to face Donte Johnson at UFC 334 in November but withdrew for undisclosed reasons. UFC 335 closes the promotion's 2026 numbered-event calendar.
