Canelo Trains Alongside Usyk
Canelo Alvarez is training alongside Oleksandr Usyk in Gandía, Spain, as he prepares to challenge Christian Mbilli for the WBC middleweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super middleweight title on October 31 in Riyadh.
The location gives Canelo a training base closer to his competition time zone ahead of traveling to Saudi Arabia for fight week, with recent footage showing the two champions working out together.
Canelo is looking to reclaim a title at 168 pounds after losing the undisputed super middleweight championship to Terence Crawford in September 2025.
