Fury FC featherweight champion Carlos Calderon will make his UFC debut this Saturday on four days' notice after original opponent Lucas Brennan tore his ACL.

MMA Fighting confirmed the replacement matchup at UFC Vegas 124, where Calderon faces Austin Bashi at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Brennan suffered the knee injury less than a week out from fight night, forcing the promotion to scramble for a short-notice replacement.

Bashi enters on a losing skid after dropping a decision to Jose Delgado this past July. The 2024 Contender Series signee has struggled to find consistency in the octagon, going 1-2 since his debut loss to Christian Rodriguez. His lone UFC win came via first-round submission over John Yannis.

Calderon brings momentum from a three-fight winning streak and a 5-1 record in his past six outings. He defended his Fury FC title in October with a five-round decision over Lorram Esteves.

The featherweight bout sits on a heavily reshuffled card that saw Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Johnny Walker elevated to the main event after Sean Brady withdrew from the original headliner opposite Gabriel Bonfim. Strawweight contenders Tatiana Suarez and Virna Jandiroba meet in the co-main event. The main card streams on Paramount Plus at 8 p.m. ET.
