Brandon Moreno will try to halt a two-fight losing streak when he meets TUF 33 winner Joseph Morales at Noche UFC 4 on Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
MMA Fighting's Mike Heck confirmed the flyweight matchup with sources close to the booking, which was initially broken by HEAVY. The former two-time UFC flyweight champion has dropped consecutive fights to Lone'er Kavanagh and Tatsuro Taira, managing just two wins in his past six appearances.

Moreno's recent struggles and Morales' win streak
Moreno last fought in February, losing a five-round decision to Kavanagh in Mexico City. The setback marked a disappointing homecoming for "The Assassin Baby," who was outworked across 25 minutes after previously holding the 125-pound title twice.
Morales enters on a five-fight winning run, having submitted Matt Schnell and Alibi Idris since returning to the UFC for his second stint with the promotion. The flyweight winner of TUF 33 now stands 2-0 in his comeback after an earlier run with the organization ended in 2018.

No main event has been announced for Noche UFC 4, though another former flyweight champion will compete on the card when Alexa Grasso faces Manon Fiorot.
