Battle Faces Rosta In PFL Charlotte Main Event

Bryan Battle will look to rebound from his PFL debut loss when he faces Dalton Rosta in the main event of PFL Charlotte on Aug. 7 at Bojangles Coliseum.

Battle, who went 7-1 in the UFC before exiting the promotion following multiple weight misses, brings a 12-3 record into the middleweight clash with Rosta, who has dropped consecutive fights and stands 11-3, according to Sherdog.

British bantamweight Lewis McGrillen-Evans returns just 20 days after a submission loss to Rafael do Nascimento, taking on Brandon Lewis in the ESPN main card opener.

The preliminary card features a heavyweight matchup between Denis Goltsov and Hasan Mezhiev, plus a light heavyweight bout between Valentin Moldavsky and Bruno Cappelozza. The full lineup includes 13 fights across six weight classes, with the main card airing at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
