Banluelok Targeting Nadaka Rematch After Songchainoi Bout
Banluelok Sitwatcharachai headlines an atomweight Muay Thai main event against Songchainoi Kiatsongrit at The Inner Circle 27 on Friday, with a ONE Championship contract and a path back to champion Nadaka on the line.
According to BJPenn.com, the bout streams live from Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium on August 21. Banluelok enters on a two-fight winning streak after suffering his only promotional loss to Nadaka earlier in 2025. A win over Songchainoi, a former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger, would mark the clearest validation of his return to form.
Banluelok's Plan For Songchainoi And Beyond
Banluelok told BJPenn.com he has identified two clear objectives. "Right now, I've got two main goals. First is securing that ONE Championship main-roster contract. Second is getting a rematch with Nadaka," he said. He described Songchainoi as an aggressive brawler whose primary threat comes from his hands, adding that power is the only area where his opponent holds an advantage.
"Honestly, I'm confident a win here guarantees a contract because Songchainoi is the absolute top of the division, barring Nadaka," Banluelok said, per the report. "As long as I don't get caught clean, I'm confident I can absorb his power. If I hit him right on the spot, he's going down."
Should the contract offer not arrive immediately, Banluelok has already mapped out his next moves in a deep atomweight division. He named Petninmungkorn NamkangIceland, Numsurin Chor Ketwina, and Rifdean Masdor as potential opponents. The fight could also produce the first stoppage loss of Songchainoi's ONE Championship tenure if Banluelok's blueprint holds.
The card airs Friday in Asia primetime.
