Austin Bashi disclosed multiple facial fractures following his unanimous decision loss to Jose Delgado at UFC Oklahoma City last weekend.

Delgado connected with a right hand in the opening frame that caused Bashi's right eye to swell progressively through all three rounds, according to Sherdog. The 24-year-old fought through compromised vision to reach the final bell but later revealed medical imaging showed breaks to both his orbital bone and nose.

Bashi posts injury update, vows quick return

"All glory to GOD! A little fracture in the nose, a little fracture in the orbital but we live to fight another day," Bashi posted on Instagram alongside a photo of the swelling. "Thank you so much to all my family, fans, and team for all the love and support, love and appreciate you all! Time to rest a little bit and get straight back to work, I love this game and I love what I do I'll be back soon."

Bashi earned his UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series in 2024 and now sits 1-2 inside the Octagon. Both losses came by decision, first against Christian Rodriguez and now Delgado.

No timeline for Bashi's return has been announced as he awaits medical clearance.
