Former kickboxer and social media influencer Andrew Tate was indicted by Romanian prosecutors this week on charges of trafficking minors, money laundering, and sex with a minor, according to MMA Mania.

The 39-year-old faces allegations he used physical violence and mental coercion to sexually exploit a 15-year-old victim, reportedly forcing her to create pornographic material for social media platforms that generated more than $1.25 million. His brother Tristan, 38, was indicted on counts of complicity and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Defense Team Vows To Challenge Evidence

Eugen Constantin Vidineac, the Romanian attorney representing both brothers, told Newsweek his clients reject the allegations and will scrutinize every detail of the prosecution's case. "We will examine every aspect of it with the same level of scrutiny and we will challenge any evidential, procedural or legal deficiencies through the appropriate judicial process," he said.

Vidineac added that the Tates retain the right to presumption of innocence and will mount an effective defense.

Both men remain in custody following their arrests in Miami in July. No date has been set for their extradition hearing.
