MMA Community Reacts To Trump’s Presidential Win – ‘The King Is Back’
Donald Trump became the US President for a second time, raising a strong reaction from the MMA community.
Trump defeated Kamala Harris, getting the majority in the Electoral College at 296 electoral colleges. Harris could only muster 226 as Trump celebrated in front of his supporters. He was joined on stage by the CEO of the UFC, Dana White. The latter played an instrumental part in helping Trump get the Presidency. He spoke at the RNC for the third time, having previously done so in 2016 and 2020.
He praised Trump’s reaction after he had been the target of an assassination attempt when he was speaking to his supporters in Pennsylvania. White also welcomed Trump to UFC 302 which was headlined by Islam Makhachev vs. Dustin Poirier. Trump also appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, who later endorsed him. That strong support was enough to get the win, as White had nothing but praise for Trump.
White Reacts
“Nobody deserves this more than him and nobody deserves this more than his family. This is what happens when the machine comes after you. He keeps going forward, he does not quit. He is the most resilient man I have met all my life. His family are incredible people. This is karma ladies and gentlemen. They deserve it as a family,” Dana White said
