Oscar Duarte Jurado embarked on his professional boxing career with a bang, making his debut on April 20, 2013, at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City. Duarte showcased his knockout power right from the start, securing a first-round TKO victory against Manuel Isaias. This impressive debut was followed by another knockout win against Jesus Reyes Ortiz on November 28, 2013, at the Hotel Marriott Torreon, further establishing Duarte as a promising prospect in the lightweight division.

 

Duarte’s early career was marked by a series of decisive victories, demonstrating his ability to finish fights early and with authority. In 2015, he continued his winning streak with a TKO victory over Jasiel Duran and a split decision win against Alejandro Salinas, despite knocking Salinas down in the second round. His relentless style and knockout power made him a formidable opponent for anyone in his weight class. By 2016, Duarte had built a reputation as a knockout artist.
